Medical Debt Information

At Butte Credit, we understand that medical bills can be unexpected and difficult to manage. We are committed to working with you respectfully and transparently.

Medical balances may include amounts not covered by insurance, including deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, or services determined to be patient responsibility. These balances are typically assigned after insurance processing and contractual adjustments.

If you have questions regarding your medical services, insurance coverage, or eligibility for financial assistance or charity care, you may contact your original healthcare provider.

Receiving collection services does not affect your ability to receive medical care.

Before You Pay

Please review the following:

  • You may have the right to request an itemized statement of your medical services.
  • Your insurance provider may still be able to process or adjust claims.
  • You may qualify for financial assistance or charity care through the original healthcare provider.

We encourage you to contact your provider if you believe:

  • Insurance was not properly applied
  • You qualify for financial assistance
  • The balance may not be accurate

Our Commitment

We do not:

  • Misrepresent the amount owed
  • Pressure you into immediate payment
  • Prevent you from exercising your rights

We are here to help you understand your account and explore resolution options that work for your situation.
